Frank Heinzelmann

Frank is more or less the prototype for our Friends & Family program: as the brother of co-founder Uwe, as a friend of the other founders, and as a power user of our Thermopads. Well, maybe power user is a bit of an exaggeration, because it rarely gets really cold at Lake Constance, where he lives.

However, the warmers are a loyal companion for his many outdoor activities – whether skiing or at the stadium. As a loyal Borussia Dortmund fan, the sole warmers and back warmers are always a must when it comes to cheering on BVB. Sometimes it’s only enough for the home games, but when BVB is in the neighborhood, it can usually be seen in the stands.

BVB’s bench won’t freeze, just like Frank, because they also swear by the thermal pads before substituting. And warming up well for the game is half the battle – as Frank, who is a sports and math teacher in his main job, knows.
