Depending on the product and shipping time, we have various warmers in our range that you can add to your parcels to protect them from the cold.
Shipping of cold-sensitive products
Thermopad offers activated carbon-based warmers that are used in thermal logistics.
Customers from the pharmaceutical, food and animal sectors use our active warmers to ship goods during the cold season that must not fall below certain temperature ranges.
Together with our customers, we develop individual solutions for shipping cold-sensitive goods.
The temperature can be recorded using data loggers to monitor heat development within the package during shipping.
Heat logistics - measurement series
We would like to present the following series of measurements.
A cardboard box (size: 200x200x150 mm) was equipped with our heaters.
Individual air holes were made, as the warmers react under atmospheric oxygen and generate heat.
The box was stored for 24 hours in cold storage at an ambient temperature of approx. 3-4 °C. The box was not insulated.
The box was not insulated.
The data loggers were located in the middle of the box.
The diagram opposite shows the temperature development inside the box.
