The iron is oxidized during the reaction with oxygen.

Thermopad heat pads are designed to generate heat for up to 12 hours after opening the airtight bag, depending on the item.

The reaction is therefore based on the simple principle of chemical oxidation.

Thermopads have a comparatively high degree of efficiency.
Our toe warmers, for example, develop approx. 35kCal.
This means that they release over four times more heat energy than electric warmers, for example.
