Maren Krings is a freelance photographer and artist based in Germany and Austria. Her focus is on documenting projects in the field of the environment and sustainability. Since 2016, she has been working on a long-term photojournalistic project about the global rediscovery of the hemp plant.
In addition to three illustrated books about the Tyrolean Alps and its lifestyle, Maren works a lot on commission for international magazines such as Outdoor Magazin, Servus in Stadt und Land, NORR, Suston, Bergwelten and Runners World. She receives commissions in the fields of documentary, reportage, sustainability and industrial photography.
