Ever since he was able to walk, his father took him out and showed him the little and big things in nature. At the age of 8, he bought his first camera and from then on tried to capture the flora and fauna in pictures.
Over the years, he has developed a particular passion for the local wildlife and the Nordic countries. He tries to capture special moments from nature in his pictures, which can perhaps help us to see the world with different eyes. He mainly finds his motifs in German national parks, in Scandinavia, on Spitsbergen, Greenland and Iceland, but also in the Alps. Especially on cold days in the Arctic and Scandinavia or when sitting for hours in a small photo hide, he appreciates the warming pads from “Thermopad”.
